Our Story

Growing up in a Mexican family, some of my favorite memories weren't tied to gifts or vacations—they were around the table.

Family gatherings always had familiar flavors: homemade aguas frescas, fresh fruit, and recipes passed from one generation to the next. Those traditions taught me that food isn't just something we consume. It's how we celebrate, connect, and remember where we come from.

As I got older, life changed.

I lost my father to gastric cancer, and not long after, I became a father myself.

Those two moments made me look at food and health in a different way. I started asking myself what traditions I wanted to carry forward, what values I wanted to pass on, and how I could honor the people who shaped me while building something meaningful for the next generation.

That's how Raíz was born.

Raíz, which means "roots" in Spanish, is inspired by the ingredients and traditions I grew up with. Our goal isn't to reinvent Mexican culture—it's to celebrate it in a way that feels fresh, thoughtful, and relevant today.

We believe traditional ingredients deserve the same attention and craftsmanship as any modern wellness product. Whether it's a refreshing agua fresca, a frozen paleta, or another product inspired by our heritage, every recipe begins with respect for where it came from.

Raíz exists to reconnect people with the flavors of home, create new family traditions, and remind us that some of life's best moments are shared over something simple and made with care.

This is only the beginning.

Welcome to Raíz.

Raíz Mission

At Raíz, we reimagine traditional Mexican ingredients into thoughtfully crafted food and beverages that celebrate our heritage, bring people together, and fit today's lifestyle.

We believe the flavors we grew up with deserve a place in the future—made with care, rooted in authenticity, and shared with the people who matter most.

Every product we create is inspired by the traditions that connect generations and the simple moments spent around the table with family and friends.
